10 Minute Phone Consultation
I will contact you for a 10 minute phone consultation to make sure I’m the best fit for your needs. You’ll then join the waitlist and I will call you as soon as there is an opening. Sessions are scheduled on the same day/time every other week. This day/time is reserved for you.

Assessment
Treatment starts with a thorough assessment, after which I will work with you to create a treatment plan based on the latest research. After our plan is in place, we’ll begin therapy and work together as efficiently as possible to meet your goals.

My Approach
Treatment is based on the latest research and evidence on sexual health. Sessions are weekly or every other week and the goal of therapy is agreed upon treatment goals. Therapy is interactive with weekly homework. Therapy is offered in-person or via video.

In Person
My office is in Canyon Rim Plaza. There is parking surrounding the building, the main entrance is ADA accessible, and there is a gender neutral restroom on the upper floor.
FAQs
What does sex therapy involve?
Sex therapy in many ways is just like any other therapy. It involves talking, exploring old negative patterns, creating new healthy patterns, and learning healthy communication. No one is removing their clothes. It’s just talking. However, unlike other therapy, the main topic is sex and you’ll likely be prescribed behavioral homework exercises designed to reduce sexual anxiety and improve sexual function and sexual communication.
Do you take insurance?
No. I am not in-network with any insurance companies (meaning I do not accept insurance). Fees are self-pay only. Payments accepted include LYRA, HSA, Bishop Pay, cash and all major credit cards. Documentation for out-of-network insurance benefits will be provided upon request.
How long will therapy take?
This is the million dollar question. My goal is to help you meet your treatment goals as efficiently as possible. I am not a therapist that wants to keep you in treatment for years. For couples who have a solid relationship and healthy communication and only want to work on enhancing their sexual relationship, treatment is usually around 3 months. For couples who are struggling in both their non-sexual and sexual relationship, treatment is usually 6 months to 1 year. For couples with significant resentment, trauma and trust issues, treatment is usually greater than 1 year.
